Sunday - let the celebrations continue!

The bride and groom joined about 30 family members for brunch the next day at a lovely French cafe in Surry Hills. Then they were off to the airport to start their honey moon!
Unfortunately the weather turned bad but we were all happy that the rain waited a few days!
We checked out of the Medina in Surry Hills and moved to our accommodation in Balmain.
Had dinner with my brother and Alex - another great day.

Saturday - after party

What a great idea to continue the celebrations the next day with an after party. The Tilbury Hotel was a lovely venue although the management got a bit bent out of shape about having children on the premises.
After finishing there about 5 we all then met for dinner - some 25 of us (!!) for dinner at a Thai restaurant.

The big day!

After arriving in Sydney on the midnight horror from Perth we were exhausted. We managed to grab a few hours sleep at the hotel before we had to leave for the wedding though so we were feeling somewhat human!
We arrived at Athol House in Mossman about half an hour before the wedding, what an amazing place!
Emilie and David looked amazing - of course! The flower girls were too cute!
After a great afternoon and evening dancing the night away, we went by water taxi from Mossman to Wooloomooloo and then back to the hotel.

Sydney here we come!

Tomorrow we leave for Sydney for a week and a half. Can't wait!
